Wing Schensema

Hi! My name is Wing Schensema and I’m from the United States. Prior to living in Shanghai, I lived and worked in Hong Kong for three and a half years. I joined my husband, Claus, here in Shanghai in 1997. The initial stay was two years with the idea of moving back to the States, but look at us now! We’ve been here 10 years! We have two children, Heinz (age 8) and Julia (age 5). They were both born in California, USA, but are growing up here. Living in Shanghai has allowed us to travel more freely between our hometowns…USA, Germany, and South Africa, as well as other parts of the world for holidays. I have worked with PAFA at SCIS Changning campus for 2 years, and now with SCIS Hong Qiao. I’m delighted to be part of the SCIS community. It is a warm and vibrant area of international cultures. I look forward to this year’s challenges and events in-the-making. I hope you’ll join us to continually improve our community for our children, ourselves, and friends around us.
