Samila Crawford

My name is Samila Crawford and I moved from Sweden to Shanghai in January 2006. I have a 7 years old daughter in Grade 2 in Ms. Hedrick’s class. I have enjoyed being Passport Club coordinator since 2006.

My husband and I are used to live abroad; we have lived in many countries before we came here. This is however, our first expatriate life as a family with a child, which is quite different then our previous experiences.

China and especially Shanghai is a very exciting place for us to live in. We love to travel and explore new surroundings and learn about meet new people and cultures. We enjoy living in Shanghai a little bit more and more for every day that passes by. My daughter has adjusted to SCIS and this new environment wonderfully and she has a big smile every morning when she goes to the school and it makes our lives more enjoyable in Shanghai.
