Olga Schröder

Hi! My name is Olga Schröder and I am from the Netherlands. We have been living in Shanghai for 6 years now and ever since the beginning my two kids, Kennith (14) and Inez (16) have been students at SCIS. We have been on all three campuses throughout the years and we are still enjoying all the aspects of the great international community SCIS offers. We made lots of friends from different countries and we developed a greater understanding of different cultures. We have been travelling a lot through China and find it a fascinating country.

This is my third year as ambassador of the large Dutch community at SCIS. Last year I also started my “job” as liaison for Upper School together with Helga Heidingsfelder as we felt there was a growing need for Upper School students and parents to be heard in the SCIS community as our Upper School is becoming bigger. I am looking forward to another great year at SCIS!
