Centrally located on Jiangsu Road near the No. 2 subway line, our Changning campus is on the grounds of the Shanghai #3 Girls’ Middle School. SCIS Changning offers an artificial turf soccer field, a hardtop play surface and playground equipment situated among the green spaces around the campus. The main building is home to the school’s administration offices, nurse’s station, faculty lounge, classrooms for grades 1-3, Mandarin and ESL, the library and two computer labs. Our Early Childhood Building encompasses eight specially designed classrooms and is adjacent to a newly renovated P.E. facility. An additional three-storey structure houses the food service operation, grades 4-5 and a 300-seat theater.

Changning campus opened its doors 11 years ago as the first of the SCIS schools. In that time, the campus has developed a close community of students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Teachers here pride themselves on knowing the school and the students beyond the scope of their classroom. In effect, Changning is a small school enviroment with some big-time facilties.
